Two for the price of none? We had a great time downtown July 10th with these two fabulous couples. Luke's marrying Hannah and Sarah's marrying Tyson, but Luke and Sarah are brother/sister! They're both getting married to the loves of their lives next year. Hopefully Apple will be shooting both weddings! Right?

Changed Lives Exhibit
News Release from Victory Mission:
What do faces of victory look like? Are they weathered from life's trails? Joyous from hurdles successfully passed? Anxiously waiting for what comes next in their new life?
Photographer Craig Heidemann will attempt to answer that question with The Changed Lives Exhibit, opening at Bellwether Gallery in October 2008. Heidemann, an accomplished local photographer, has dedicated numerous hours to Victory Mission and Victory Trade School capturing some of our most precious moments on film.
Bellwether Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday, 1PM to 5PM, and Saturday, 12PM to 3PM. You can also visit their website at http://www.bellwetherarts.org/

We Won! We Won!
Once again Apple took top honors in the juried Ozark Empire photography competition. Craig won Grand Champion for the best black and white photograph entered in any category -- "Steel Guarijio" taken in the village of El Barro, Chihuahua, Mexico. Ann Heidemann took top honors in the graphic design section for her Sand Dollar beach photograph with a moving John F. Kennedy quote. Out of thirteen entries, ten of the Heidemann's photographs placed first, second or third. In the Professional division, their San Francisco series took second place in architecture, and third place in nature/sky/weather. Ann's visceral San Francisco street scene garnered second place in the b/w city category. Craig took first in b/w people, second in digital nature, second in transportation (his Favorite!), second in photos with manipulated colors (go Abby!) and third in graphic photos w/text taken at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery. Thanks to all of you who shared your congratulations with us. We appreciate it very much.

Amanda and Chris - June 21, 2008
Sun, rain and birdseed. They were all there in Freistatt and combined to make a perfect day for Amanda and Chris. They were married under the majestic gothic arches at Trinity Lutheran in Freistatt. We had a great time as did the 300 or so guests. Amanda and Chris took off to Colorado for their honeymoon to enjoy a little fly fishing. PS - I still have three packets of flies that I forgot to give you -- maybe you can try them out in the Jordan Valley fountain when you return :).
