Marissa and Rocky

I spent some time getting to know Marissa and Rocky during their engagement shoot. What a fun couple! Enjoy a few teasers...

Lauren Capps - Miss Teen America? We'll see...

Had a blast shooting with Lauren Capps today for her entry in the Miss Teen America pageant. She decided to also enter in the "Miss Photogenic Teen" event and needed some last minute images. I think her pictures just shows off her vibrant "out of the box" personality. She loved the camera and the camera certainly loved her! What do you think?

Bambi Cantrell - Day 2

After a long day of working with Bambi and shooting three gorgeous couples, I'm exhausted. Before going to sleep, I managed to pull a few together to share. It's been an amazing experience working with one of the world's most renowned wedding photographers and learning from her. Thanks to Dawn Shields for bringing her to town to shoot the cover of Metropolitan Bride magazine. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Bambi Cantrell - Elfindale

Bambi Cantrell, one of the top wedding photographers in the world, is spending a few days in Springfield working with a handfull of photographers from Florida, California, Colorado and points in between. I'm lucky enough to be here as well. Here's a sample of some of the images we came up with on Day One. Our future Apple bride, Mee Chou, stopped by for a bridal session. Bambi shot a few images of her which I haven't seen yet. I bet they are incredible. Can't wait for days two and three. Stay tuned!!

Real Encounter Ministries

I was honored to photograph for Real Encounter (http://www.realencounter.org) today. Brad needed fresh shots for the website. We went to work in the parking lot next to his shop. Here he is defying gravity and common sense! For those of you who aren't familiar with Real Encounter, they do great work in school assemblies, character building, evangelism training and reaching kids for the Lord. Check out the website.

Back In Springfield

Steve, Ann, Colton and I had such a wonderful time at WPPI in Las Vegas. We got to connect with such amazing photographers and were privileged to learn from all of them. You just never stop learning. It's never enough! Everyone should learn as much as they can and be the best they can be in whatever fields of life you have chosen. We had a fabulous time shooting Regina Wilkinson at the Neon Boneyard in her fabulous dress. She was a trooper – many thanks to her and her mom Chris. It had rained for two days before (a rarity in Vegas) and it was 35 degrees out when we started. Despite a few goosebumps, all went well. Regina was beautiful and the images are fantastic! Also, we were pleased to hear that Dawn Shields (www.dawnshields.com) took 3rd in the print competition – many congratulations to her. Her assistant Kyla placed in the album competition as well! Looking forward to the three day seminar with Bambi Cantrell. More later…..

Neon Boneyard Bridal Session

Regina's bridal session at the Las Vegas Neon Boneyard was FANTASTIC!!! The weather was great despite yesterday's rain. The images are UNBELIEVABLE. Regina has so much enthusiasm and her hair and makeup by Amelia Cline (bevainlasvegas@yahoo.com) took the shoot over the top. Here's a teaser, more to come. Brent, wish you were here! -- Craig, Steve and Colton.
